Maths Teacher (St Marks CoE Primary School)
Maths Teacher
MPS/UPS
Full-time
Required From September 2025, permanent
St Mark's CE School is one whole school community, where we create a sense of belonging for all who enter. Our core Christian values of love, belonging, and service are nurtured and modelled through high standards by excellent staff.
We are seeking an exceptional Maths teacher to join our growing team and be part of our leading work for the Maths Hub. You should be able to inspire our students in line with our whole school Christian distinctiveness and ethos, helping them achieve excellence.
At St Mark's, we work collaboratively to plan lessons, ensuring consistency and high-quality teaching.
All teachers use the same PowerPoints and resources, drawing on the NCETM (National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics) to support our planning.
Our bespoke curriculum is carefully designed to meet the needs of our students, and we embed the Five Big Ideas from Maths Mastery to underpin our teaching approach. We also believe in the power of mixed-ability teaching, ensuring all students can access and excel in mathematics.
We welcome applications from teachers with experience in Maths Mastery, as well as those new to the approach. If you are unfamiliar with Maths Mastery, we will provide full support and training to help you implement it effectively in your teaching.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher with strong secondary-phase knowledge to join our school community. Our warm-strict behaviour policy allows teachers to enjoy teaching without disruption. As a growing school, opportunities for professional development are rich, and you will be part of a unique and exciting setting.
To be successful, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with evidence of recent professional development. You will be a passionate and creative teacher, ready to contribute to our collaborative and ambitious team in our all-through school.
St Mark's Church of England School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
