Hours: 9.00am – 3.15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Contracted Hours: 26.25 per week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated SEN Support Teaching Assistant (Key Person) to join our friendly and hardworking school community. You will work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning and thrive.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience using strategies and resources to support personalised learning (e.g. Now and Next boards, task boards, and visual aids).
- Ideally has experience working with pupils with physical, health or complex learning needs.
- Is patient, caring and committed to supporting every child to achieve success.
- Is motivated, enthusiastic and able to use initiative.
- Works effectively as part of a team and has strong interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, reliable, professional and able to communicate clearly.
- Can follow direction from the class teacher and AHT for Inclusion while confidently using their own initiative.
- Has the creativity and resilience to inspire and support children in their learning.
- Has experience working with children, particularly those with SEND.
- Holds at least an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in childcare or supporting teaching and learning, and GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Experience delivering or planning Wave 2 and 3 interventions would be advantageous.

Please note that this is a Fixed Term Position for two terms in the first instance, with the possibility of this being extended further depending on the needs of the school.
